I really don't want to sound like I'm making fun here, but your tagline is a bit of a contradiction. I'd take away the "and proud of it" part, as it is one of the deadly sins.

Are all types of pride sinful? When I say I am a Christian and proud of it I merely mean I am not ashamed of the Gospel (Romans 1:16). Sinful pride consists of elevating oneself above others and/or having an inflated view of one's own importance, I do not believe stating I am proud of being a Christian falls under either of those two categories.

You are trying to use technicality to get around your contradiction. Pride is pride and pride is a sin. You clearly do have an inflated view of yourself, since you believe your book is more important than other books, which in itself is self-entitlement and arrogance.
Sinful pride is self-elevation and self-love. That is in direct conflict with my "book."
Philippians 2.3 : Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves
If I am guilty of this, I pray that the Holy Spirit convicts me of it. At the moment, however, I do not feel that I am looking down at others as worse than myself. I do believe the Bible is more TRUE than other books and also more important. However, I am not the Bible. I do not use the fact that I believe the Bible to make myself better by association.
I do question whether or not you, who do not even know me, can decide whether or not I am prideful. I am guessing you know some Christians in your own life who you see as prideful and assume I am just like them. That is called stereotyping, and it is not always a reliable source of information.
